Dona Ursu

Dona Ursu is a Romanian improviser living in Brussels. She performs shortform and longform with the resident group of the American Theatre Company, The Ghost Sheep and twoprov longforms with improviser and actor Bill Barberis in their show Matchmakers and Close Quarters, with improviser and actress Laura Doorneweerd.

Dona organises various improv projects in Brussels such as Improv Barter, luxurious couch surfing for improvisers and Two Prov Lab, an experimental playground for duo improvisation.

She also teaches and performs improvisation in Brussels and around Europe.
When she is not improvising Dona is a conference interpreter and a spoken word poet. Also, her last name means "bear".

Dona est née en Roumanie et vit désormais à Bruxelles. Elle joue avec une troupe américaine célèbre — The Ghost Sheep - The American Theatre Company —, et a créé deux spectacles de longform avec Bill Barberis nommés Matchmakers et Close Quarters. Elle enseigne l’impro et se produit également dans toute l’Europe.

Parce qu’elle va toujours plus loin, Dona Ursu s’occupe de deux projets extrêmement novateurs à Bruxelles : Improv Barber, un caoch surfing de luxe pour improvisateurs, et Two Prov Lab, un terrain de jeu expérimental pour l’improvisation en duo.

Ce phénomène risque fort de ne laisser personne indifférent.
